Eric Gatlin Appointed Chief Operating Officer
RH Aero is thrilled to announce the promotion of Eric Gatlin to Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting to Anthony Turner, President. Eric joined RH Aero in April 2025 as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations and will continue to be based at the company’s global headquarters in Mason, Ohio.
In his short tenure, Eric has demonstrated exceptional thought leadership, strategic foresight, and people-centric leadership that have accelerated RH Aero’s reliability and strengthened its global operations. As COO, he will lead the company’s supply chain, operations, production, and services teams, driving initiatives focused on reliability for our customers, efficiency, and innovation.
Eric brings over 28 years of leadership experience across the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries. Prior to joining RH Aero, he served as Vice President of Operations at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, where he successfully led major operational transformation initiatives, enhancing efficiency and compliance across multiple sites.
Earlier in his career, Eric spent eight years with GE Aerospace, holding key leadership roles that underscored his strategic and operational acumen. His career began at ZF TRW, where he spent 18 years in progressive roles spanning design engineering, manufacturing operations, advanced manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and program management. His career culminated as Director of Operations for the Asia Pacific Electronics Division, based in Shanghai, China.
Harold Cheng Appointed Executive Vice President, Asia Region
Harold Cheng has been promoted to Executive Vice President for RH Aero’s Asia Region, where he will continue to be based in Singapore, the company’s regional headquarter’s for Asia operations.
Harold joined RH Aero in 2024 as Vice President of Sales and has since demonstrated strategic insight, collaboration, and a deep understanding of people and customer engagement. With over 25 years of experience in the aerospace sector, including more than a decade in senior leadership roles with P&L responsibility, Harold brings extensive operational and commercial expertise to his expanded position.
In his new role, Harold will continue to champion RH Aero’s customer-centric philosophy across the Asia Region. Known for his collaborative leadership style and strong relationship-building skills, Harold has consistently fostered trust and transparency with customers by understanding their operational challenges and aligning RH Aero’s solutions to their evolving needs.
He will focus on deepening strategic partnerships through active engagement to further strengthen RH Aero’s presence in Asia expanding the company’s reach while reinforcing long-term relationships built on reliability, performance, and mutual success.
Before joining RH Aero, Harold spent 10 years with ST Engineering, leading large cross-functional teams across commercial and general management functions. During his tenure with ST Logistics, he oversaw aviation fuel operations for both commercial and military customers across Singapore, India, and Timor Leste, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in aviation fuel delivery and storage.
Harold began his career with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, where he served for nearly 16 years in various leadership and technical capacities.
Martin Duerr Appointed Executive Vice President EMEIA Region
Martin Duerr continues in his expanded role as Executive Vice President of the EMEIA Region (Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa), leading the region based in Biberach, Germany. Martin plays a central role in advancing RH Aero’s growth strategy, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving innovation across key markets.
In his role, Martin will focus on deepening RH Aero’s engagement with customers through a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach. By leveraging his extensive technical background and commercial expertise, he will ensure that customer needs are understood at every level from product development to aftermarket support.
Martin will drive closer alignment between RH Aero’s regional teams and its customers, creating opportunities for joint innovation, continuous improvement, and tailored service offerings.
Under Martin’s direction, RH Aero aims to position itself as a strategic partner helping customers meet evolving market demands, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve their own growth objectives.
Martin brings more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, combining deep technical knowledge with commercial leadership. Prior to RH Aero’s acquisition of HYDRO Systems, Martin served as HYDRO’s Head of Sales, Customer Support, and Product Management for nearly a decade, overseeing business expansion, customer satisfaction, and product excellence on a global scale.
Earlier in his career, Martin held several leadership roles with MTU Aero Engines, where he served as Director of Business Development and held senior positions at MTU Maintenance in both China and Germany, contributing to strategic growth and operational performance.
