RH Aero Brings LGX MultiSystem Americas Trial Program to Market

Mason, Ohio – April 2026 – RH Aero Systems is bringing its LGX MultiSystem Americas Trial Unit Program to the US market, with a validation and trial unit becoming available in the United States soon. The program gives airlines, OEMs and MRO bases across the Americas the opportunity to evaluate a ground-based main landing gear change workflow that has demonstrated time savings of up to 16 hours compared to standard procedures in RH Aero’s validation and trial applications.

The LGX MultiSystem is designed to reduce dependency on overhead cranes, simplify coordination during wide-body landing gear changes and support more controlled execution through real-time load monitoring and operator-guided movement. We successfully validated, an improved two-person workflow, reduced reliance on crane allocation and monitoring aligned with AMM limits to mitigate risk to the airframe, alongside up to 16 hours of time savings.

The Americas program builds on RH Aero’s validation milestones across multiple airframes. Successful trials and validations include the Airbus A330 in cooperation with Elbe Flugzeugwerke, as well as the f irst 787-8 and 777-200 main landing gear changes using LGX during heavy-check applications with British Airways maintenance teams. The LG stands for structured execution, reduced team requirements, less dependency on crane allocation and real-time load monitoring within AMM limits.
