LONDON (ExCeL London) — October 15, 2025. RH Aero Systems today announced the official launch of the AeroJetVac™ Engine Wash & Cool System. The program milestone was formalized at the RH Aero booth - Booth 1629 during MRO Europe 2025, where RH Aero and Rolls-Royce signed a mutual partnership agreement designating RH Aero as the commercial lead and global distribution representative for AeroJetVac™.

Designed in cooperation with Rolls-Royce, AeroJetVac™ allows sustainable engine cleaning without opening the cowl doors, minimising the maintenance ground time required by not repositioning the aircraft. Operators’ can focus on operational excellence to meet aircraft turnaround across diverse fleets. The system combines cooling, washing, rinsing, and drying in a single ~90-minute window, with integrated effluent capture. No dry motoring nor wind restrictions, so aircraft return to service on one standard gate time, with fewer technicians and less re-planning risk. As the program is launched to the market, adoption is already in place: more than 400 washes completed across three engine types, trial rigs and initial new production with 15 airlines in 10 countries by year-end 2025, all supported by 26 service centers.

“Operators asked for a faster way to recover performance at the gate and to do it without aircraft repositioning and engine run, across stations” said Martin Dürr, Managing Director & Executive Vice President Commercial, RH Aero. “This partnership allows us to deliver that outcome at scale: one method, one documentation set, streamlined support industrialized local-for-local through our global network. Reliable. Ready. Relentless.”

“Stability in planning is the heart of successful operation,” said Matt Ley, Director of Design & Service Engineering, Rolls-Royce. “AeroJetVac™ supports engine health and availability with a compliant, well-controlled process that integrates into live operations, which is why we’re partnering with RH Aero to extend aircraft availability and enable confident deployment and service support.”

What the partnership means for operators

    • Distribution & enablement: RH Aero will distribute AeroJetVac, and coordinate commissioning, training, and documentation aligned to operator procedures and EHS requirements.
    • Operational benefit: Gate-side cooling and wash in one cycle reduces ground time and protects starter systems—helping shops keep takt and avoid improvised workflows during commissioning.
    • Support footprint: Customers leverage RH Aero’s established service network for upkeep, calibration, and field support—one standard across locations.
